Creative Solutions, in partnership with UVMedico, brings the patented UV222 lamp to Saudi Arabia: a continuous air and surface disinfection solution uniquely safe to use in the presence of people.
The technology
UV222 harnesses far-UVC wavelengths that rapidly inactivate SARS-CoV-2, as well as other common airborne and surface pathogens including bacteria, mildew, mites, spores, fungi, and antibiotic-resistant superbacteria like MRSA.
Unlike conventional UV-C, the UV222 lamp emits a narrow-band spectrum, using a unique patented filter technology, that cannot penetrate living human skin or eyes. This makes it the first UV disinfection technology that can operate continuously while people are present in the space.
Before each installation a simulation calculates the exact disinfection time for the environment. UV222 is programmed to never exceed the UV irradiance dose permitted by international standards, ensuring it disinfects before, during, and after every use.
Proven results
Preliminary results from Café Dan Turéll, the first restaurant in Copenhagen to install UV222, showed it was possible to deactivate more than 99% of bacteria, matching previous results on viruses including SARS-CoV-2. This significantly reduces the spread of infectious diseases and provides safe surroundings for both customers and staff.
